Why Choose Swim School of Austin

We teach swimming with a program based on perpetual swim lessons. Once your swimmer starts the program, they never have to stop because their class is over. Your swimmer progresses through the program based on their age and abilities.

Swimmers need as many opportunities to swim as possible. Large class sizes don't make this possible. Most of our classes have a maximum of four students. Baby and Me classes have a maximum of 6 participants and advanced classes have a maximum of six students. All advanced students swim almost the entire class session.

All of our swim teachers are trained using the Swim Schools International curriculum. It is one of the country's fastest growing swim agencies. All swim teachers have passed background checks and training evaluations.

The Swim School teachers use the GOLD SCRIPT©, which is our set of very detailed lesson plans. The plans for each level are designed for several skills to progress in small increments each week. The Gold Script insures consistent teaching across classes and teachers.

Your child's placement in a class is based on many factors including age, ability, temperament, group dynamics, and teacher/class availability. Your child will have many opportunities to promote to other classes.

Our pool is professionally managed by Hines Pool and Spa and we keep our pool temperature at a comfortable 88 degrees to make sure your swimmers look forward to their swim lessons.

We know many of our parents are busy professionals and you've taken time out of your busy schedule to spend with us. We encourage our parents to be on-deck with their swimmers to observe lessons first hand. However, if you need to relax we have a comfortable waiting room or a quiet outdoor deck. We also have free WiFi access for anyone who's still working!
